- Al has brought on board his experience as a professional athlete (HSBC Waratahs 2003-2007) and actively engages himself in training and conditioning programs for SSH clients who wish to trek the Kokoda Track or Lark Force Wilderness Track.

- He is an experienced campaigner along the track and has been trekking with tourists for over 15 years.
- He is a local landowner from Menari village and the son of Faole Bokoi who is one of the last surviving Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels.
