Kokoda Tours

Brigade Hill Mission Tours

South Sea Horizons and Papua New Guinea partner UingGuinean gBrigade Hill Mission Tours (BHMT) have created and alliance to promote locally guided tours along the Kokoda Track.

Trek with us and keep the strong bond of the Anzacs and the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels alive. We will walk the track together following the footsteps of the Kokoda Battle and share our stories of our fore fathers along the way.

Special training sessions are available with Alan Manning and his team of personal trainers to prepare you for the Kokoda. “Its not an easy road” but a memorable one.

Together SSH and BHMT have designed a trekking package that places a focus on relationship building among porters and trekkers, personal attention and care for trekkers and ultimate satisfaction.

International Porters Protection Group (IPPG)South Sea Horizons is a supporter of the International Porters Protection Group (IPPG) organisation which is an NGO that dedicates its time towards creating fair treatment for porters and guides.

SSH-BHMT have 4 trekking packages available for our trekkers and these have been designed with the objective of being able to accommodate all types of trekkers - fit and less conditioned, young and old, war history and/or culture. The tours are listed as follows:
