SSH have selected the following festivals from the National Cultural Commission Calendar. The festivals are held once a year and they are an opportunity for the local indigenous communities to showcase their traditional culture, dance and music.

The festivals provide an an opportunity to educate local youths in PNG about their origins and cultural traditions.
