Tour Description:
Dive 102 Tour (7 Days/6 nights) is a superb 10 dive tour in the beautiful island town of Rabaul, East New Britain. The tour has been designed for the diver who is restricted by time due to busy lifestyles and other commitments.
Our guest will depart from Brisbane to Port Moresby and will the transit to the domestic terminal and depart to Rabaul on the same day (can be subject to delay). On arrival into Rabaul, our guest will be warmly greeted by a SSH representative and a traditional welcome reception. Our guest will then be transferred by shuttle bus to Rapopo Plantation Resort.
Dive sites that our guest will visit will be subject to the season and weather conditions at the time of the tour and also dependent on the level of experience of our diver. Dives include drift, wreck and reef dives. Below is a selection of some of the dive sites that can be visited.
Accommodation:
Our guest will be accommodated at Rapopo Plantation resort. The resort has it’s own dive facilities and instructor so all dive tours are launched and ended at the resort’s beachfront. The resort facilities include luxury beach side accommodation for singles, twin share and triples and for large groups of up to 6 a house is available for hire (Please enquire through your SSH representative).

Extra Information:
- Dive equipment is all provided by the Dive shop operator at the Resort and is inclusive in the dive packages. Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment.
- Breakfast and lunch packs are inclusive in the package. Dinner meals are not included but can be pre booked through your SSH representative.
- Our dive itinerary allows our guest to have 2 dives / 3 dives /3 dives on day 2,3,4 respectively. Tours on all three days will commence with an 8AM departure and a full day out at sea.
- Vessels used are 19 ft centre console vessels, fitted out specifically for dive charters.
- Water temperature in Rabaul can reach up to 28 degrees celcius so diving to 10-15 meters does not require wetsuits but they are available to our guests for hire.
- The final day is a free day (Non-Diving) as our guest require 24 hours recovery before flying. A land tour, fishing or other activity can be organized through your SSH representative. (Refer to the booking form)
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Brisbane to Port Moresby – Transit to Domestic terminal; Depart Port Moresby to Rabaul. Meet and greet at Tokua Airport (Rabaul) by South Sea Horizons representative and traditional welcome reception. Transfer by shuttle bus to Rapopo Plantation resort.
Day 2: Dive Day (2 Dives) – Breakfast and departure at 8AM – Dive sites will be dependent on weather conditions and level of experience.
Day 3: Dive Day (3 Dives) – Breakfast and departure at 8AM – Dive sites will be dependent on weather conditions and level of experience.
Day 4: Dive Day (3 Dives) – Breakfast and departure at 8AM – Dive sites will be dependent on weather conditions and level of experience.
Day 5: Dive Day (3 Dives) – Breakfast and departure at 8AM – Dive sites will be dependent on weather conditions and level of experience.
Day 6: Free Day – Available to our guest is fishing, Land Tour (War relics, Volcano tour and cultural tour); Boat Day to Duke of York Islands.
Day 7: Depart Rabaul to Brisbane (Via Port Moresby). Tour Ends.
