Tour Description:
Our weekender package to Galley Reach is designed for the avid estuary angler, keen to test out the vast array of estuary systems (located just outside of Port Moresby) in search of the infamous PNG Black Bass and Barramundi. This is a specialist fishing tour but is also a relaxing couple of days on the water.
Tours are conducted by one of Port Moresby’s most renowned anglers, Jason Yip who is equipped with state of the art fishing vessels, equipment and tackle and local savvy of the estuary systems and the nearby communities.
Accommodation
Angler will be accommodated at the Galley Reach Sport fishing lodge (Rubber plantation) – basic but comfortable accommodation.
All meals and drinks (non-alcoholic) are included in the package. Anglers can order their selected drinks prior to the tour and SSH will have this arranged and ready on arrival.
This is a tour that is perfect for a quiet getaway from the hussle and bustle of the city lifestyle. A fight against a PNG Black Bass is a life changing experience.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Brisbane to Port Moresby – Meet and Greet by SSH representative. Transfer to Galley Reach Lodge (1 hour drive). Dinner served at lodge.Day 2: Full day of fishing (All meals provided – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner + Non- Alcoholic Drinks).
Day 3: Full Day of Fishing (All meals provided – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner + Non- Alcoholic Drinks).
Day 4: Early morning rise – Fishing dependent on tide and weather; Return to Port Moresby International Airport (lunchtime) and check in. Depart Port Moresby to Brisbane. End of Tour.
